The Play was a publication project I was set to do in my second year of university. It's a book illustrated and narrated by myself based on my personal knowledge of the game. The cover itself is handmade by faux leather and stripped telephone wire. It is designed to imitate an American football. The logo which I designed was sprayed onto the leather as the final seal to the book.

BA (Hon) Contemporary Arts Practice
During my time at University, I have had the opportunity to explore multiple mediums. Exploring a wide range of modules which were Graphic Art, Photography, 3D and 2D - I found myself getting more involved in graphics and focused on graphic ways to produce my art. The content of my practice was mostly inspired by sociology, mental health, and theories such as phenomenology and the placement of an object in a certain environment.

I quickly picked up practical skills from using workshops such as the print room and darkroom - but also got familiar with software such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I used and combined these skills which furthered my practice.
